The Beast from the East raised some challenges for learning last week, but there are several digital tools that we can use to support pupils from a distance. The more that schools and teachers embrace these technologies and encourage pupils to do the same, the more we can support their learning in our subjects, in the digital world that they will be inhabiting in the future, and in developing their self reliance and study skills.

A lot is made of the holiday time that teachers get but it's already clear to me that it is well earned and much needed. I am going to make the most of my first summer holiday as a teacher.
Time to make a decision about my path for next year. I've been through the full 7 stages of grief.
So today saw the GTCS release the council allocations for all probation/TIS teachers for 2017/18. Do I take the blue pill or the red pill.....
